Silver Lining Honey started as diversion during the 2020 Covid time.

Scrolling through NextDoor I saw an advert “Swarm of Bees for sale”. I had always been interested in bees and thought to myself ‘how hard can that be …’

Then, after purchasing a hive on ebay, a local beekeeper came around and shook his recently captured swarm into my small, empty hive and we were off.

I will always remember the first time we looked into the hive, about a week after the bees arrived. There was fresh comb and bees and all sorts of stuff which we had no idea about 🙂

After watching several hundred youTube videos we had our first harvest!

Since then the bees have thrived, our garden has blossomed and we have a small backyard business to share this wonderful natural product.
